You may be freezing, but your heart shouldn't be.
HOT CHOCOLATE CRAWL
Gone are the days of places serving up your average cup o' Swiss Miss. Make a list of spots that serve next-level, Instagrammable hot chocolate. And make sure to pick out some places that serve spiked hot chocolate, duh.
BE A LITTLE BASIC
It's true: Everyone wants to indulge her basic bitch in the winter by doing traditional activities. From ice-skating to snow-shoeing to a winter walk, layer up and find a way to get outdoors and enjoy this brisk time of year (and post about it online, obviously).
GET SWEATY
There's no better time to get your sweat on than in the winter, so pick a class and get physical together...and follow that up with a shower together, too.
NETFLIX AND CHILL
...But, like, literally. And, yes, the phrase gets a reputation for being apathetic and casual, but you can make a whole ~legit date~ out of it. Light up some cinnamon-scented candles, curl up on the couch, and finally watch all of Twin Peaks. Don't forget to wear some lingerie underneath...
CRACK OPEN A COOKBOOK
Surely you have a cookbook accumulating dust as it sits on your shelf. Crack it open, close your eyes, and turn to a random a page. See what you get. If it doesn't sound like it will induce your gag reflex, then pick up the ingredients and try it out.
TRY YOUR HAND AT FONDUE
Head over to your local cheese shop and pick up some fondue and a fondue pot. Choose different foods to dip in your delicious, goopy cheese — make sure to add wine.
HIT UP A MUSEUM
It's never too cold out to get cultured. There's no better time than when it's freezing out to scope the latest exhibit at your local museum, or to view classics you've never actually taken a look at.
TAKE A COOKING CLASS
If the thought of messing up your own kitchen makes you want to pop a Xanax, perhaps try a cooking class with your partner. Think about it: You'll have fun together and you'll be prepping for your next at-home dinner date. And if the weather is going to be awful for the next few months, you know you'll be spending plenty of time indoors.
